This boy is wonderfully unexpected as we only had a 25% chance for a chestnut, but we knew if the foal was a chestnut it would have some chrome, and he does. His star, strip and snip, along with his near side hind stocking, he also has three interesting boots coupled with partial socks on the back of each of his legs, and he shows flaxen in his tail.

Reveille will be the only foal his dam Aliy ever produces. If you recall Aliy is our mare that was injured several years ago in a accident trailering returning home from a western dressage lesson. Aliy did handled her maternity well, and thankfully we had a mild winter for her.  Although, and not unexpected, we had to aid her with the delivery of Reveille's shoulders but all in all Aliy did great and she made a very contentious mother however after much throught we have decided it is in Aliy best interest to retire her from future breeding.

As for Reveille, we are delighted with his flash and he is turning into a sweet boy, Reveille is very people oriented and has began his foal ground work skills and learning a few small tricks. Which seem to be the highlights of his day. He also loves his feed, but what Morgan doesn't.

This boy loves to run and he thinks dirt and mud are the best thing about being on here on earth. He has a heavy winter coat for a foal and brushing doesn't accomplish very much, so we got a battery operated leaf blower that we use on him and that keeps him pretty clean. (I'll get a video soon).

Note: We are considering keeping this boy and offer him because he is a colt rather than a filly. We will consider a sale to the right person that can do more with him than I will be able and would love if someone interested in breeding took him on as we have decided Reveille will be the only foal his dam ever has.
